NL.DESIGN... one thing I've noticed about Dutch (web) design is that everything has to be BIG and browser filling, wherease elsewhere, small is beautiful and less is more. (Click around and find the text of the 'Barcelona lecture' by Mieke Gerritzen - big name designer for VPRO / Net 3, etc.- it's hilarious dunglish. 'medialabs were pupping up everywhere'. I don't like her work much. When her re-design for the Net 3 leaders and bumpers came in when I was working at VARA, I banged my head against the wall in frustration )
