People who ordered my book from musicroom.com got their copies yesterday. The thing you've got to remember as an author is that while for you your work is your heart and soul, for the publisher it's just a bunch of units to be shifted at the highest possible profit. It reeks, but that's how things work. 'Yes, we've sent 3 copies.' Three? I thought I was getting 6? 'To be honest, we don't remember how many we sent. If we said 6 it's probably 6.' If I ever write a book again, I'm self publishing it like the first time. Nobody will put their blunt and grubby paws on my next baby.
