The lady reading announcements at Duivendrecht station has rerecorded the message that drives me up the wall while I'm waiting for my train. It's worse now: 'zer maay-bee peakpokkutch and luggitsj (small pause and deep breath) thfleefs'. Seriously, what she makes of 'thieves' can not be reproduced in writing.

I know that the other voice of Dutch Rail (the guy who announces international trains and maintenance) just happened to be at the right place at the right time. He worked at NS and had a normal job during most of the week. His announcements were recorded on one afternoon. Nowadays he has a fulltime job recording announcements.
