Uncle Larry takes care of things
Finally a reaction from the band: U2's Larry Mullen writes open letter to U2.com members. It reads rather nicely, until the added PS. Ouch. A bit petty, but very... Larry, whose favourite statement is F.O.A.D.
U2 have never been good at taking criticism. Let it slide, man.

At least it’s better than nothing.
I think, right now, I choose to ignore the P.S. It’s a little too high-school teenage girl.

Larry shouldn’t be allowed to speak in public :-) He should be allowed to play the drums.
But Bono was away saving Africa, The Edge has more important things on his mind, and Adam is, well, Adam.
Larry has told babies and mothers to fuck off. He isn’t exactly the poster child for fan friendliness. But I do think he wouldn’t like people being ripped off.

Heh. He really shouldn’t. Although I will admit, for a drummer, the rest of it was remarkably well written ;)
I think right now, all in all, I wouldn’t like to be Sebastian Clayton. No, not one bit.
