Flickr wish

I wish there was a way on Flickr to upload a batch of photos temporarily, without them appearing in your photostream. So you can look at them, rotate them, whatever, and then tick off the ones you want to add to your stream, and the ones you want to delete. That’s all.

Yes, that would be a nice feature.

A temporary work-around could be: upload your photos as Private first.

I’ve always wished for that as well! It’s so frustrating to have to rotate and name things after they’ve already hit your account, and showed up in “what’s new” for everyone.

Can’t you upload them as “PRIVATE” do your editing, then change the status?

The batch operations are much better these days, they updated it a few weeks back.

    DOH.

    What Ruben said…

Why not rotate etc. before you upload? I do that as I want them archived “visible” anyway…

What I want to do with the pictures before, during or after is more or less irrelevant. It’s the temporary storage place, away from the photostream, that I’d like to have.

The flock browser lets you view your image before you upload it and also rotate/crop too.
