Lots of folks around here (wife included) think it's so great to have winter, especially cold (-30), snowy (6-10 inches) winter. I'd be okay with visiting a place like this for a couple weeks to experience it, but regular life should not require bundling up for 15 minutes just to go outside to the car. IMHO.
