The Angelus is an Irish audial and televisual institution. It consists of the ringing of a bell for Angelus for one minute and a short film about one minute long. It is broadcast 7 days a week on RTÉ One immediately prior to the Six One News. On radio[1] they are broadcast at 12:00 and 18:00 every day.
