I feel the earth move

Earlier this evening I was talking to a friend from Sweden who has recently moved to Portland. 'I'm going to cook dinner,' I said, and left the chatbox open. We were downloading each other's mp3s.

When I came back, the little window said: 'I've just experienced an earthquake'. He was okay, and the house was still standing.

'It felt like being at sea,' he said.

'Weird,' I said.

The files kept downloading.
