Pling
I just bought a piano. Well... I bought a thing resembling a piano. It's digital. And I didn't really buy it, I'm renting it.
It's a Technics sx-PC25. Why digital? Well... looking at the real pianos in the shop I realised my house would need a serious makeover to fit in a piano. Also... I figure if I get bored with playing/lessons, I won't have spent too much money. I'm renting for a year, if I decide to continue I can upgrade to a better digital, or a real piano.
Walking through the shop (Clavis) I caught a little old copper plaque to the wall. It said 'Golschmeding'. 'That's where we bought our grand piano when I was little,' I said. And the man answered: 'This shop used to be Goldschmeding, when they folded staff got together and started their own company of which they are the only shareholders.' Wow.
What do you think of our website, the man said. Um...
