If anyone can give me
If anyone can give me some tips on using SSI to implement different designs on a site, please let me know!
My dream come true: I
My dream come true: I can now play with Phil Jupitus. For those who don’t know, Phil’s a British comedian. I think there’s some truth in funny=sexy. And to prove my point here’s a picture of the very funny Mr Izzard. Woof!
Dutch daily ‘Het Parool’ reports
Dutch daily ‘Het Parool’ reports on the concentration of the dot.com gang in Amsterdam’s trendy centre: ‘Young guns on the canal’. The article focuses on another Dutch web shop bought up by the Yanks: Pulse was taken over by Xceed. Had never heard of them, Pulse. Nice site. Looks like something Jason Kottke would do.
British design. I love it.
British design. I love it. Now I realise what was bugging me about the Van Gogh museum’s styling. It looks fab, but not very Dutch. It looks British. Which is odd (or not) considering the museum’s director is Irish. By the way, as I noted before, their website was done in New York. But to come back to the first link… they point to fzck.co.uk… orange log of the day…
Can someone explain to me
Can someone explain to me what that McSweeney’s site is all about, because I don’t get it. And while I’m asking questions… perhaps some type wiz can tell me what the font used on this page (‘Light”) is?
Somebody’s stolen my bike. Excuse
Somebody’s stolen my bike. Excuse me while I SCREAM. (That’s bike #15 or so in 15 years… yes, a bike a year.) They get stolen by junkies and are then sold for 15 to 25 guilders. But because I’m a good prol, I never buy one from a junkie and always get one from a 2nd hand bikeshop… paying around 150 guilders. I wish they keep their dirty paws off my bikes.
